Alray Tire & Auto was very helpful for me they were very honest patient and reasonably priced, one of if not the best shops in Boone. My car was having some misfiring issues on cylinders 1 and 3 (its a flat four engine) they diagnosed it and offered to fix all of the other issues for a pretty good price. Unfortunately, they found out my timing belt had jumped and screwed up my engine which basically requires a complete rebuild, they don't have the supplies to do so, but they were very patient when waiting while I was figuring out what to do. I found a shop that did engine swaps and repairs and Alray let me keep my car there until I found a tow truck to take it. Overall Alray and its workers were very kind and helpful I would recommend.

They were closed but the owner was there in board shorts getting his boat ready for a lake day with his family. He changed my tire and wouldn't accept payment. Can’t say enough great things about this shop and how helpful Jackson was to work with. My daughter is an App State student, so I was working with them from a distance to get repairs on my daughter’s car taken care of. They did a great job troubleshooting and taking care of a suspension issue, as well as an oil change, rotation and alignment. They did exactly what was needed, no more, no less. Very trustworthy and very reasonable prices. We will absolutely use Alray as our go-to shop for all four years my daughter is at App State.
